HOW TO DOWNLOAD A VIDEO?
Let’s assume that you want to download a movie by Mahesh Babu (Tollywood) then find his name on YouTube and search for his movies, but make sure that you’re searching for his official videos only because there are numerous fake channels with his name which uploads unrelated videos of other actors. Once you’ve found the video that you want to download then copy the video URL and open Zee 5 > Home (bottom left) > New Tab (middle left) > Paste the copied URL and press enter.
There is an option for selecting quality, I recommend you to select the best possible quality which is 1920 x 1080 or higher; now click on the “Download” button You’ll see a pop up asking for downloading confirmation, now checkmark on “I agree” and click on “download”.
The video will start downloading, it’ll take time depending upon your internet speed. Once the download is complete then you can find the downloaded videos under the ‘Downloads’ tab on the Zee5 app.
A NOTE OF ADVICE
If you are using the ZEE5 app for watching TV shows or movies on an Android phone, make sure to turn on airplane mode before playing any content because this will prevent your mobile network provider from blocking some of the resources required by this app. Even if you watch a movie with airplane mode turned off, in that case when data is not available from your cellular network, then it uses data from your Wi-Fi connection which means bandwidth usage increases. This is an issue that has been faced by many users and I’m sharing this tip after receiving multiple complaints from them.
